Two men died in a single-vehicle accident Aug. 29 on the northern end of the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia, according to a National Park Service news release.

Parkway communications received a report at 7 p.m. Aug. 29 of a single-vehicle accident near Milepost 105, on the parkway near Roanoke, Virginia. 

According to the release, preliminary investigations found that a southbound vehicle “traveling at a high rate of speed lost control and rolled, ejecting three occupants who were not wearing seatbelts.”

One passenger, Jiuver Espinoza-Regalado, 19, of Honduras, died on the scene and two other passengers were transported with life-threatening injuries to a local hospital.
