Modern Citroen DS rendered by automotive designer

The Citroën DS made its debut in 1955, with otherworldly looks and a host of breakthrough features. The car remained in production for 20 years, and more than 1.5 million were built. In recent years, the DS was voted the “most beautiful car” of all time by automotive designers. Now, one automotive designer has attempted to do a modern version of the DS, with dramatic results.

As surfaced by Motor1, the modern DS is the work of Sang Won Lee, a recent graduate of Art Center College of Design. His Citroën DS E Pallas homage project takes key elements from the original, including headlamps under a triangular glass housing, a thin chrome beak spanning the width of the prow, and high-mounted taillights that are integrated into the C-pillars. The tapered body shape of the original in echoed in this new rendition, but the modern version has its own interpretation of

1963 Chevrolet Impala Rendered As A Lowrider

The 1963 Chevrolet Impala has become a staple of the lowrider community. This classic Chevrolet cruiser, along with the later 1964 model year, are considered the holy grail of lowriders, as they are the preferred vehicle of choice for some of the most talented and well-known builders.

While rendering artist Abimelec Arellano may not know much about building lowriders, he does know a whole lot about creating digital drawings of cars, trucks and SUVs. So when a fan of his reached out and asked him to render a custom lowrider based on a 1963 Chevrolet Impala, he accepted this rather difficult challenge and set to work.

“When @clapdout reached out to order this very particular set of 1963 Chevrolet Impala renderings I really wasn’t sure how the styling was going to work out, but I am very happy to report that I absolutely love the result: a purpose built drag

The Group B car that never was.

After its 1985 debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show, the Porsche 959 was the German automaker’s attempt at a Group B rally homologation special. At its release, it was one of the most advanced vehicles the world had ever seen with technologies like variable ride height and variable all-wheel drive. Instagram artist and automotive enthusiast Futurecarsnow has released a render of what a modern version might look like.

Porsche 959 Render

We know it’s all fun and games, but the concept appears to be based around the latest Porsche 911 Turbo S. We’d wager the artist went for this model as an homage to the 959’s 2.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six with 444 horsepower (331 kilowatts) and 369 pound-feet (500 newton-meters) of torque.

The styling appears relatively pedestrian compared to previous renders that we’ve looked at; the only distinguishable feature that puts it

2020 Mahindra Thar Digitally Rendered With Jeep Grille And Knobbly Tyres

Mahindra Thar Rendering Jeep Grille

Here, we have a rendering that shows how the Mahindra Thar would look like with a Jeep-style grille and a few off-road mods

The second-generation Mahindra Thar was recently unveiled in India, and it is an extremely handsome looking vehicle! It offers a retro charm in a thoroughly modern package, and has a brilliant road presence as well. It also gets multiple options for the roof – hard-top, soft-top, and convertible.

While the overall design has earned a lot of praises, there is one weak design element that has been severely criticised almost universally – the front grille. Unlike the first-gen Thar, which had the same front grille design as the original Willys Jeep, the newer model gets a completely new, rather plastic-looking grille.

Here, we have a digital rendering which imagines the new-gen Mahindra Thar with a Jeep-like grille, along with a few other off-road modifications. Apart from the
