STORY: Austrians David Trummer and Valentina Holl rode to wins on the treacherous mountain bike downhill course Sunday (October 4) at the Crankworx 2020 Innsbruck stop.

26-year-old Trummer powered his bike down the muddy 1650-metre long course in a winning time of 2 minutes, 49.081 seconds that also earned him the Austrian national downhill title.

Holl, just 18-years-old, earned the women’s win and her national title with a time of 3:12.139.

Riders from 24 coutries competed in the downhill at the famous Austrian ski resort that was the final event before the UCI Mountainbike World Championships in Leogang, about 100 miles (160km) to the east.
