Police say a juvenile fell off his bicycle and suffered serious injuries.
“Upon arrival, firefighters located a 10-year-old boy who had suffered facial trauma as a result of the fall,” Police Chief Paul O’Brien and Fire Chief Timothy Harhen wrote in a joint statement.
Paramedics treated the boy at the scene before he was taken by ambulance to a landing zone, where he was then flown by medical helicopter to a Boston hospital.
Officials say the boy’s injuries are non-life-threatening and he was alert and stable as of early Monday evening.
