LMPD investigators seek information, vehicle involved in deadly hit-and-run of woman

New details have been released in a hit-and-run over the weekend in Louisville, including information about the vehicle possibly involved.

Jacqueline Morrison, 32, died of blunt force injuries, the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office said in an update Tuesday.

According to the Louisville Metro Police Department, the hit-and-run was reported after 10:30 p.m. Sunday in the 2800 block of Breckinridge Lane.

Morrison was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators believe Morrison was walking between the center median and lane two on northbound Breckinridge Lane when she was hit by a vehicle, police said.

Both north and southbound lanes of Breckinridge Lane were closed for several hours while Louisville officers cleared the scene and continued their investigation.

In an update Tuesday, investigators said the only description of the vehicle that struck Morrison is a dark, four-door passenger vehicle with tinted windows.

Additional details were not released.
