Two motorcyclists were sent to the hospital Thursday night after a collision with a car on the east side of Great Falls.

Around 9:40 p.m., a car was traveling south on 44th Street and pulled out onto 2nd Ave. North. The driver reportedly did not see two motorcycles heading west on 2nd Ave, according to the Great Falls Police Department. The car struck one of the motorcycles, causing it to collide with the other.

Both motorcyclists were taken to the emergency room. One of the drivers was still in critical condition Friday morning, GFPD Lt. Doug Otto said in an email, while the other sustained minor injuries. The driver of the car was not injured.

The names of those involved were not immediately available Friday morning.
