PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — TBC Corp. will offer consumers free tire care and 28-point vehicle safety checks at its NTB Tire & Service Centers and Tire Kingdom Service Centers the week of Aug. 31 in recognition of 2020 National Tire Safety Week.
The annual consumer tire safety awareness campaign promoted by the U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association (USTMA) focuses on educating motorists about proper tire care and potential danger from unsafe used tires.
“While not much has remained consistent throughout this turbulent time, what has remained is our commitment to exceeding the expectations of our customers and ensuring their vehicles are in safe driving condition,” TBC President and CEO Erik Olsen said.
“We appreciate the continued efforts of the USTMA in making tire safety a priority and we hope all consumers will allow our team the opportunity to perform one of the free inspections to ensure your vehicle is ready to get you where you need to go.”
TBC operates 410 NTB locations throughout the southeast, midwest and eastern seaboard and 190 Tire Kingdom stores in Florida.
The 28-point vehicle inspection includes a comprehensive status check of tires, fluid levels, battery & lights, hoses, belts and wipers, brake system, suspension and steering systems.
The tire check inspection will cover air pressure, tread depth, irregular wear patterns, nails, cuts, punctures and other visible damage and visible structural integrity issues, TBC said.
