OHP trooper finds 2 juveniles with gunshot wounds inside vehicle during traffic stop in OKC

Authorities are investigating after an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper found two juveniles with gunshot wounds during a traffic stop in Oklahoma City.

Police told KOCO 5 that the trooper pulled over a speeding vehicle Tuesday night near Interstate 44 and Northwest 10th Street and discovered that two juveniles had been shot. The victims were taken to an area hospital with injuries that are not considered to be life-threatening.

Oklahoma City police officials learned that the shooting occurred near a school in the 9400 block of South Bryant Avenue. Police said there was a disturbance over illegal activity and the two juveniles were shot.

The two then ran to their mother, who police said drove them to the hospital. The juveniles’ ages have not been released.
