Public Notice: Opportunity to Comment on CWA Section 401 Certification for the Yellowcalf Road Bicycle Path in the Wind River Indian Reservation | EPA in Wyoming

Summary

EPA is is planning to issue a Clean Water Act Section 401 water quality certification for a CWA Section 404 Nationwide Permit (NWO‑2014‑02788) for a proposed project crossing several canals and tributaries to Wind River in Fremont County, Wyoming. The project will parallel Yellowcalf Road, providing an alternative transportation method along the road. The project is within the exterior boundaries of Wind River Indian Reservation, Wyoming.

Project Description

The purpose of the proposed project is to construct a bike path along a 2-mile section of Yellowcalf Road near Ethete. The project area is located along the eastern boundary of Section 4, Township 1 South, Range 1 East and eastern boundary of Section 33, Township 1 North, Range 1 East of the Wind River Meridian, Fremont County, of the River Indian Reservation, Wyoming.
