Grand theft vehicle: Lake Avenue
A complainant at 9:55 a.m. Aug. 11 reported a vehicle missing from where it had been parked in the street.
Theft: Wascana Avenue
A resident called the police at 6:15 a.m. Aug. 13 to report his wallet was missing. Someone had gone through his car that had been parked in his garage that could not be secured, according to a police event report.
Driving under the influence: W. 117th Street
Police at 2:42 a.m. Aug. 10 arrested a man on W. 117th Street at Clifton Boulevard for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and driving under suspension. The car was towed from the scene.
Theft: Detroit Avenue
Police at 7:05 a.m. Aug. 8 responded to a Walgreens pharmacy on a report of a suspected shoplifter who had previously been told not to enter the store. Officers found the suspect nearby in Cleveland and arrested him for shoplifting, criminal trespassing, and intoxication, according to a police event report.
