Wichita Falls Police were called to the 3100 block of Southeast Drive shortly after 1 p.m. Saturday on a report of an injured woman standing in the street yelling for help.
According to an arrest affidavit:
The woman told officers she recently moved in with her boyfriend. He proposed, but she turned him down. She said the man assaulted her with a bicycle tire and frame. The officers noted the victim had several injuries and had blood on her mouth.
The victim said she used a knife to stop the assault and fled the house to call for help. Police located the suspect in the home but he refused to come out, only speaking to officers through a window.
The suspect’s mother let the officers in and they took him into custody. He told officers he was attacked by the victim but said he wasn’t injured.
Officers arrested Robert Noble,45, and charged him with Assault Family Violence.
